Dunkin Donuts has responded to CITI2SHEA.

I have fought my own 1-man protest against Dunkin Donuts for running a Yankees advertising campaign, putting the Yankees logo on the ice coffee cups that Mets fans happen to drink.

As a sponsor for both, I hoped for a choice.

Here is the email response from Dunkin Donuts….

Thank you for taking the time to contact Dunkin’ Donuts.  We always appreciate hearing from our customers.  It’s important to us to get feedback both good and bad about our products, services and advertising.  We sincerely apologize to you if you found our advertising offensive as this was not our intent. I would like to believe DD will bring this to their headquarters and discuss this email. At the very least, we reminded them that this is still a 2-team town.
